VISITING SCHOLARS

All applications will be judged by the Scientific Committee that will analyze the scholar’s background. The 3rd-country Scholar selection procedure and timetables for the Academic Year 2011/12 will be the following:

• Scholars applying for ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarships: January 31, 2011

• Scholars NOT applying for ERASMUS MUNDUS scholarships: April 15, 2011

The admission criteria and relative weights will be the following:

• Scientific Curriculum – 67%.

Examples of factors to be evaluated in this topic will include the quality of the Curriculum and the area of expertise.

• Interview/Teaching skills – 33%.

This will be a Web interview conducted over the internet by some or all of the members of the Scientific Committee, as it is strongly felt that this is the best way of assessing the real language, teaching, cultural and scientific competences of the applicants.
